LSW - Colorado

Sierra Roach Coye

I hold a master’s-level license in social work (LSW) and am currently working toward my independent clinical license (LCSW). My work centers on adolescents, their families, and adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, burnout, and life transitions — people who are ready to heal.

Before specializing in trauma, burnout and identity work, I built a strong clinical foundation in acute and higher-level care settings, including inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs. Through this work, I developed deep experience in suicide prevention, crisis intervention, as well as substance use treatment.

I have a deep passion for supporting and uplifting women and people of the global majority (BIPOC individuals) as they move through professional burnout, life transitions, trauma, giftedness, and the cumulative weight of existing in systems that were not built with them in mind. Together, we'll interrupt patterns rooted in trauma and attachment wounds, and begin rebuilding self-trust and boundaries on your terms.  I meet you where you are, and we move at a pace that honors your story, your culture, and your nervous system.

My approach is grounded in flexible, culturally responsive, trauma-informed care. That means I work from the understanding that your stress, anxiety, or depression is not a personal failing. It is often a reasonable response to an unreasonable amount of pressure — to systems, expectations, and histories that were never designed with your well-being in mind.

My primary specialization and training is in PTSD and Complex Trauma. I have particular experience supporting:

  • Depression and anxiety, including the kind that shows up as exhaustion, irritability, or numbness rather than obvious sadness or worry
  • Women and BIPOC professionals navigating burnout and the pressure to overperform
  • Clients moving through major identity shifts and life transitions
  • Adolescents and families working through relational and developmental challenges
  • Adults untangling the long-term effects of trauma and attachment wounds

I believe healing doesn’t exist in a vacuum, and that growth happens through many paths — not just traditional talk therapy. I value continued learning and alternative forms of healing, which is why I currently conduct research exploring Black nature connectedness and land-based healing practices.

Whatever brought you here — depression, anxiety, burnout, trauma, a life transition, or simply the sense that something needs to shift — I want to say welcome, and I am excited to assist you on your healing journey.
