LCSW - NC, CO, NJ, MA, SC, CA
I believe every person has the capacity to grow, heal, and create meaningful change. My role is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can better understand yourself, recognize your own strengths, and feel empowered to create the life you want.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS), and Board Certified Diplomate (BCD), I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of life's challenges. I recognize that no two individuals are the same, which is why I tailor each therapeutic experience to meet your unique needs, goals, and strengths.
I have experience working with individuals navigating:
- Anxiety and chronic stress
- Depression and mood disorders
- Trauma and PTSD
- Grief and loss
- Addiction and substance use recovery
- Co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Major life transitions
- Relationship and family concerns
- Behavioral challenges in children and adolescents
- Severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI)
- Intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
My therapeutic approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy while integrating evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, strengths-based interventions, trauma-informed care, and play therapy. Together, we'll explore the patterns that have shaped your experiences, build practical tools for everyday life, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
I believe healing doesn't begin with having all the answers. Sometimes it begins by removing one barrier at a time. Whether you're processing trauma, navigating recovery, strengthening relationships, or simply trying to better understand yourself, therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, gain insight, and move forward with intention.
Together, we'll create a space where insight becomes growth, challenges become opportunities, and lasting change begins one step at a time.
